The assignment was to design a large hotel complex with a villa attached to the site for the client of the competition: Hamza Benmira and Almamoun Benmira. Another part of the competion was also to make a educational facility for people with downs syndrome. We designed the project to have as few corridors and pathways as possible and instead utilized a series of patios as a way to get to the different areas of the complex. The project also have just one elevator, which demanded some clever planning and organisation of the floorplan. In this project a huge amount of time went to details and try to mimic the traditional architecture that can be found throughout Marocco.

The property for this competion spanned approximately 19 hectares. This expansive area provided ample space for both the proposed architectural structures and the integration of extensive landscaped gardens and outdoor activities.

- A private residence for the clients of approx 220 m2
- Restaurant area of approx 130 m2
- Entrance combined with a cafe of approx 35 m2
- Spa of approx 200 m2
- Hammam of approx 100 m2
- 2x changing room with showers of approx 40 m2
- Gym of approx 100 m2
- Educational areas of approx 200 m2
- Exhibition halls of approx 100 m2
- Flexible event area of approx 350 m2
- Adminstration offices of approx 100 m2
- Staff quarters of approx 120 m2
- Interior pool area of approx 60 m2
- A infinity pool of approx 60 m2
- Terraces and patios with gardens that doubles as outdoor pathways
